Case Study #99: St. Lou Fringe

The mission of St Lou Fringe is to build community by connecting uncensored, unjuried performing arts with accessible, affordable performances for audiences. St. Lou Fringe achieves its mission by producing the St Lou Fringe Festival, a multi-city block event featuring drama, dance, comedy, music, slam/spoken word, performance art, fashion, vaudeville and circus arts. In addition, St. Lou Fringe provides a network of artists, audiences, and businesses committed to local cultural and economic growth.

My assignment was to rethink this organization's brand identity and to assure that assets in the brand toolkit could be easily adaptable and flexible for other designers executing various digital and print collateral. Within a limited budget, one of the main challenges was to build a visually impactful and distinct look with recycled photo imagery as well.
